Libnet for win32 è la versione per piattaforma win32 della famosa libreria libnet.

Libnet for win32 is the win32 version of the famous libnet library.

 

For a description is better to refer to the autor of the Unix version, Mike Shiffman:

 

Libnet is a high-level API (toolkit) allowing the application programmer to construct and inject network packets. It provides a portable and simplified interface for low-level network packet shaping, handling and injection. Libnet hides much of the tedium of packet creation from the application programmer such as multiplexing, buffer management, arcane packet header information, byte-ordering, OS-dependent issues, and much more. Libnet features portable packet creation interfaces at the IP layer and link layer, as well as a host of supplementary and complementary functionality. Using libnet, quick and simple packet assembly applications can be whipped up with little effort. With a bit more time, more complex programs can be written (Traceroute and ping were easily rewritten using libnet and libpcap).

Libnet was designed and is primarily maintained by Mike D. Schiffman (mike at infonexus dot com) and a host of other people (please see the libnet documentation for the complete list of contributers).

Libnet for win32 vs Libnet
Spero che le modifiche incluse in questa versione vengano aggiunte nella release ufficiale di Mike Shiffman. Fino a quel momento cercherò di mantenere Libnet for win32 aggiornata con la release ufficiale

CVS
Non ho molta familiarità con CVS per cui non utilizzate questa release come "main trunk".

Se desiderate utilizzare CVS utilizzate la versione ufficiale di Libnet.

Automake
Non ho trovato nessun porting di Automake su piattaforma win32, quindi non lo ho utilizzato.

Se qualcuno sa dirmi dove reperire una versione per Windows, mandatemi una mail.

Libnet for win32 vs Libnet
I hope that libnet for win32 will merge into the official Mike Shiffman's release.Till then I'll try to keep this release update with the latest Mike's release.
 


CVS
I'm relatively new to CVS, so do not use my release as a main trunk. Please
always use the official libnet release with CVS.

Automake
I haven't found a win32 version of Automake, so I don't use it. Let me know
where I can find Automake for win32

Libnet for win32 offre, al momento, le seguenti funzionalità:

  • la completa compatibilità con la versione 1.1.0 ufficiale di libnet

    •   

  • il supporto per reti token-ring

  • una dll regolare per piattaforme win32

  • testato con Visual C++ .NET

  • un insieme di funzioni aggiuntive rispetto alla versione standard per astrarre il livello di link (es. libnet_build_link e libnet_autobuild_link)
